Abgefahren

In the video, there is intertwined with my personal story - a stay in a hospital and its consequences with the tense political situation in Poland. In the period of the pandemic and social isolation, the governing party decided to start a war with women by brutally tightening the already restrictive anti-abortion law that restricts the freedom of the women.

It is also the title of a project carried out in collaboration with the Frakcja group of artists and the German artists from the Endmorane group.

The video-work also documents my activities with the white canvas that the artist Susanne Pittroff sent to me. I could do whatever I wanted with it, Susanne only asked to cut the canvas to the required distance between people during the pandemic - two meters.
'Abgefahren' is a word in German that can be used in a variety of contexts. It means that something has passed, gone, finished, but also that something is crazy.
