Nothing Good will come out of it exhibition

The poster I created responds to the slogan of the exhibition, which aimed to collect statements from artists inspired by the phrase "Nothing good will come of this" and present them in the form of a 100 x 70 cm poster. The initiative sought participation from not only graphic designers but also creators from various other media.

My work addresses the issue of fake news. This phenomenon has emerged alongside the growth of the Internet and social media, where information from unknown or unauthorized sources spreads uncontrollably. Many users share this information without verifying its credibility. Additionally, social media algorithms provide us with personalized content aligned with our previous searches, leading us into a trap of confirmation bias.

The construction of such misleading information primarily aims to manipulate our emotions, fostering distrust toward specific social groups, credible journalism, and the opinions of scientists.

The consequences of this environment include a decrease in logical reasoning, the radicalization of social attitudes, the rise of conspiracy theories, and hostility that undermines social cohesion. Ultimately, these factors lead to a population that struggles to cooperate, making it easier for groups that oppose the freedom and well-being of citizens—such as totalitarian regimes—to manipulate public opinion.
